a little information for you

Natural Health

Natural Health Practitioners look at the body as a whole, the mind, body and spirt.  We try to get to the root cause of illness or any other issues that you may be having such as insomnia. Practitioners will choose herbal supplements, teas, tinctures, and a number of other techniques based on the symptoms or ailments that a client describes during the initial consultation.  We also perform a physical exam, by inspecting certain areas of the body such as the face, tongue, eyes, and nails.  After collecting all of this information we make personalised suggestions on what vitamins, minerals, supplements, lifestyle changes are needed to get their body back into sync with itself.

Natural Health

Herbalists use plants for healing.  Plants have many natural healing properties and are the best way of healing the body.  Teas, tinctures, salves, balms and essential oils are some of the instruments that we use to apply our herbal remedies.  Herbal medicine is medicine made from plants, either the whole plant or sometimes parts of it, for example leaves, flowers, roots or bark.  It has been the main source of medicine used by people for thousands of years.  There are many herbal traditions around the world.

Herbal medicine has itself developed over the centuries and links can be traced back to Graeco-Roman, Arabic, European, Egyptian and Chinese cultures.
